The Bruce Building in Newcastle

Walton Robinson are based in The Bruce Building in central Newcastle, a landmark Grade-II listed three-story building dating back to 1896.

Then and now

The Bruce Building is the former headquarters of Newcastle Breweries, and still has some of the original features, including unique stained glass windows, ornate coving, architecture and tiles from over 100 years ago. After a £5m restoration project, the building has been transformed into one of Newcastle’s most sought-after recent developments.

Location

The Bruce Building benefits from a fantastic location in Newcastle City centre, opposite Haymarket Metro and Bus station, allowing easy access in and out of the city centre.

It is also next to Newcastle and Northumbria University, and Eldon Square, so the Walton Robinson office benefits from a high footfall. The city’s shops, bars and restaurants are also only a short walk away, making the area popular with students and professionals alike.

Security

The building’s unique fob entry system, as well as a secure key pad entry system, make it a safe place to live and work.

Commercial

The serviced office suites at the Bruce Building are available for businesses around the city. The rent for the suites are inclusive of all utilities (not wifi or telephone), maintenance, cleaning, water, drainage and buildings insurance. The unfurnished offices have shared kitchen and toilet facilities, hard wood flooring and PIR motion sensor lighting.
