Walton Robinson have teamed up with new homes developers Thurbsy Homes
A former bonded warehouse in Newcastle city centre is under conversion into twenty-two new apartments for sale.
Currently under refurbishment, each apartment is unique thanks to Thursby Homes’ desire for the conversion to work around and fit the original shape of the building. Charlton's Bonds dates back to 1885 and is located on Waterloo Street in Newcastle city centre.
Walton Robinson have been instructed as exclusive sales agents on the range of one, two and three bedroom apartments and already have 60% of the units sold subject to contract or under offer. Refurbishment work is due for completion by the end of summer 2017 ready for buyers to move in and there is a show flat for potential buyers to view. The ground floor is to be let out as commercial office space which will be occupied by a local business.
Chris Wilkin of Walton Robinson said "There is truly nothing else like Charlton’s Bonds in Newcastle City Centre. It’s been great working with a local developer like Thursby Homes and our city centre location and experience with developments of this nature has proved invaluable. The apartments are proving incredibly popular - several units were even reserved by keen buyers before the official release!”
Each apartment will be finished to a high standard, with white kitchen cupboards and vinyl flooring. There will either be a bathroom or shower room with some apartments benefitting from an en-suite too. Walton Robinson are currently working to get all apartments reserved and they have so far proven popular with homebuyers and investors as 60% are SSTC or under offer. Prices range from £97,000 for a one bed and £200,000 for a three bed.
The show flat is now open, for more information on Charlton's Bonds call Walton Robinson on 0191 243 1000 or email email@example.com.
