Newcastle property experts qualify and associate another four ‘able agents’

Newcastle-based lettings agency, Seekers, has successfully qualified a further four members of staff and funded their membership of ARLA Propertymark.

The Lettings and Property Management staff members each undertook a training programme with The Able Agent, offering a Level 3 Certificate in Property Advice and Practice. This qualification allows them to apply for an ARLA Propertymark Membership.

Having members of ARLA means that the agency can better assist their customers in relation to governance, risk management and compliance, by ensuring that staff are up to date with best practice and legislation.

Recent CePAP graduate, Member of ARLA and Lettings Manager, Jessica Bates, said: “I really enjoyed the learning aspect of the course.

“Although I have been in the property industry for over four years, it was still really valuable to achieve this qualification and there are lots of things learnt that I will use in my day-to-day role.”

Seekers, formerly Walton Robinson, has a longstanding relationship with the face of Able Agent, Charlotte Jeffrey Campbell, and has previously worked with her to put colleagues through ARLA qualifications.

The CePAP training provides a practical, user-friendly method of learning that allows participants to develop their skills and improve confidence across all areas of the business, from sales and investment to lettings and compliance.

General Manager, Amy Moore, who is also a member of ARLA, said;  “At Seekers we are keen to ensure that our staff members are as up to date as possible with legislation.

“The Able Agent programme allows us to achieve that in a user friendly way, that makes it engaging for our employees.’’

Whether clients are looking to let, rent, buy, sell, invest or develop, Seekers aims to make the process simple.

Whilst they do all the things a typical estate and letting agent does, the agency’s core offering is twofold: a letting and management service for residential landlords and tenants, and a consultancy service for corporate investors and developers.
